Reminder - Drop Off, Pick Up and entering the school

REMINDER OF PROCEDURE WHEN PICKING UP YOUR CHILDREN

When picking your children from school please use the Church Street entry or the Church carpark entry for collection. Your child will wait on the grassed area outside the office, with the duty teacher, until you can be seen by your child at which stage they can walk to you.

FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN PLEASE NOTE THE CURRENT WALKING PROCEDURE

Children who are walking should follow the same procedure that is in place currently due to the building work. The laneway leading to the southern end of town (cricket pitch end) has become the access point for machinery and heavy vehicles. Therefore students walking to the southern end of town can leave the school from the Church Street entry (netball court) or the England Street bus stop area.

Please note that students walking home are not permitted to walk through the Church carpark lane. Students may only enter the church carpark with their parents. The school has a teacher on lawn duty to monitor student pickup in this area.

Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Please advise other carers of your children about this important information.

PARENTS ENTERING THE SCHOOL

Pickup and drop off procedures allows parents to spread out near the school gates.

However we still have COVID-19 restrictions in place and parents should not walk around the the school grounds without signing in at the school office.

If you are late you must bring your child to the school office, unless assembly is still running on the basketball courts, in which case you can leave them at the gate to join assembly.

Please do not take your child to the bag area or into the school buildings.
