For 2022 the St Mary's swimming carnvial will be for Years 2 to 6 only following the risk adverse approach adopted by Catholic Education.  The carnival will run at 5.30pm on Friday 11th February.  On Friday we allow children to wear their team colours to school.

  

Due to COVID restrictions we cannot have parent helpers in the pool assisting the students. UNFORTUNATELY THIS MEANS OUR NOVELTY EVENTS FOR KINDER AND YEAR 1 STUDENTS CANNOT BE HELD.  Kinder and Year 1 students are not required to attend and an alternate activity later in the term may be held if restrictions change.

  

We are taking nominations now for all students in Year 2 to 6.

     

Year 2 students who turn 7 in 2022 can only swim 25 metre races.  If they do not want to swim 25m races, for this year only, they do not need to attend the carnvial.

  

All swimmers should have this form completed please, it needs to be returned by Wednesday the 9th of February 2020.

  

  Please note the 200IM will be run on Thursday the 10th of February during school hours.

    

We are looking for volunteers on the night and you can nominate to help on the form but we also require volunteers on Thursday at 11.30am to help with timekeeping for the medley event.  Please call the school if you can help on Thursday.
