Year 3/4 Reconciliation Retreat Day

Paul Kelly Cup Year 5/6
Our Year 5/6 students, with Mrs Cuthbertson and Miss Beach, travelled to Wagga on Wednesday to play in the Paul Kelly Cup AFL gala day.
Both our boys and girls teams played in the non-competitive competition and had a fantastic day. There was some great team work and sportsmanship and this was a credit to them all.
Both our teams managed to win a few games and discovered they had more AFL skills than they thought.
Well done year 5/6.

Bullying No Way
On Friday the students wore orange mufti clothes and worked together in their MJR groups on various activities to stamp out bullying. Thanks Mrs Mcpake for organising the day and activities.

Cyber Safety Year 5/6
Lachlan Ellis with our Year 5/6 classes.
Our cyber safety session on Monday night presented by Mr Lachlan Ellis from Catholic Education Canberra was very well attended by our Year 5/6 Parents and their children. Lachlan made us all aware of some of the dangers associated with children online and how we need to be vigilant supervisors of our children online. He talked about our digital footprint and how a persons history of posting online can affect their character and employment possibilities. Other interesting facts included how detrimental it can be for people to share their passwords and whenever a person posts on a social media site that site has ownership of those photos to do with what they like.
On Tuesday morning Lachlan addressed our 5/6 students and alerted them to the fact that they must physically know all of their followers and he reiterated that the legal ages of social media sites such as Snapchat, Tik Tok and Instagram is 13 years old. Thank you Lachlan, 5/6 parents, students and teachers for being a part of this partnership to keep everyone informed in order to stay safe online.
