Canberra Goulburn Cross Country

Cross_Country_Competitors_2021.JPG

On Tuesday the 25th of May, Lexi Patton, Asha McDonell, Max Cuthbertson, Jimmy Dean, Chloe Morton, Amelia Alchin and Oliver Cumming travelled to Canberra to compete at the Canberra Goulburn Cross Country trials.

It was a freezing day in Canberra and despite this all of our children ran very well.

Lexi Patton qualified to compete at the MacKillop Trials in Sydney on the 8th of June.

Amelia Alchin, Asha McDonell and Bobby Bryant attended the MacKillop Touch Trials in Sydney on Thursday afternoon and Friday last week.

These are very competitive representative sport trials and our students all performed very well at this level.  St Mary's is proud of their achievements.

Canberra Goulburn Rugby Union Trials

Harry_Ted_and_Grace.JPG

Harry Morton, Ted Curry and Grace Kellahan are in Canberra today trialling for the Canberra Goulburn Rugby Union team.

All three of our students played well in some tough games and enjoyed themselves.  Ted and Grace were chosen in the Possibles & Probables, which was a huge achievement considering Grace was the only girl competing at the trials.  They have to wait until tonight for the announcment of the Canberra Goulburn team.
