A Message from our Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
On behalf of our school staff, I would like to offer my sincere thanks for the support you have shown to allow our school to prepare for remote learning. Please check your emails for a survey regarding student attendance this week. Please be assured we understand that most of our community are regarded as essential workers. The criteria for remote learning this week is, if you or your partner are at home or you have other care available for your child they should stay home and engage in remote learning.
Our school’s platforms for remote learning will be SeeSaw and Microsoft Teams. Please follow this link for a support document regarding Microsoft Teams. To help your child/ren transition to remote learning, the activities delivered will be of an independent nature, which allow your child to become familiar with the new structures. While the majority of the instructions will be delivered using digital resources the activities themselves will be varied and at times ‘screen free’. Our staff are mindful to give our students a break from looking at the screen for too long.
Thank you for your continued support and please know that my staff and I remain available to discuss any concerns you may have in relation to your child’s education.
Kindest Regards,
Phillip Nielsen
Principal
