The first round of Western Region Public Speaking was held last Wednesday against Lake Cargelligo. The students who were chosen to represent St Mary's were: Zahli Cattle, Molly Stokes, Caitlin Parker, Alexandra Patton, Nell Ramsay, Hugo Harper, Charlie Murdoch and Harry Morton.  These students delivered their fabulous speeches via Teams to a remote judging panel.

    

Charlie Murdoch, Nell Ramsay and Caitlin Parker were successful in progressing to the final of Western Region which was held on Friday.

    

Charlie, Nell and Caitlin again performed their speeches via Teams this time to a judging panel in Temora.  They all were very accomplished and delivered their speeches with great enthusiasm, however they did not qualify for the next level of competition.

    

Well done to all our students, who had to be patient and wait many weeks to perform their speeches at the Western Region competition.
