Congratulations to two of our students who broke records at the carnival:

Congratulations to Asha McDonell and Bobby Bryant who each broke the 1500m record in their age group.

Congratulations to Asha McDonell who jumped 1.28m in the Senior Girls High Jump to break a record held since 2009 by Caitlin Kelly.

Western Region Athletics

 On Thursday the 16th of June a large group of St Mary's athletes travelled to Cootamundra to compete at the Western Region carnival.  This is the first Western Region Athletics carnival since 2019.
    
Our students were well behaved and showed great spirit by cheering on all our competitors.  A shout out to our senior students who were fantastic role models for our junior students.

St Mary's has a great sporting history and this year we had four students who won awards on the day:
  
Bobby Bryant - Senior Boy Champion
Asha McDonell - Senior Girl Runner Up Champion
Jimmy Dean - Intermediate Boy Champion
Bella Alchin - Intermediate Girl Runner Up Champion
