Mortimer Shield - Year 3/4
On Wednesday 21st September the students in Years 3 and 4 along with 3 students from Year 2, FINALLY got to participate in the much anticipated Trent Barrett gala day in Junee.The weather was wet and miserable but this did not dampen spirits our teams were ready to go! They had been training all term for this event and were very excited.
Thank you so much to the coaches Grant Pettit for the boys and La’Shey Cattle for the girl’s league tag team.
Each team got to play two games before the rain set in and the organisers called it a day. The students had a great day in the trying conditions putting everything they learnt from training into action.
