Community Council Report - A Regal Afternoon

  A_Regal_Estate.jpeg

Thank you to all that braved the cold and ventured out to a 'A Regal Afternoon'.

What a day it was!

The picturesque setting of Regal Estate made for the perfect backdrop to host the event on Saturday 29th April.

Guests were treated to a feast provided by Mal and Sal from Lake Cowal Conservation Centre (LCCC). Music was provided by rising young local star, ‘Claudia Raine Music’ who opened our event and later opened for country music star Fanny Lumsden.  Then, taking us from afternoon to evening, and from our chairs to the dance floor, was a former student of St Mary’s War Memorial School, Cathy Player with her acoustic duo 'Kiss This'.  We were very lucky to have such a wonderful band to entertain us for the evening!

For something a little different, Darren Green "The Cartoon Cellar", who entertained us with his caricature offerings. Luke.jpgDarren has also kindly donated a large, signed compilation of his caricatures. Tickets of a 100 Club to win this compilation are available for purchase from the front office for $20 each.

A special mention must be made of our amazing sponsors of 'A Regal Afternoon'.  We had three major sponsors of Dean Stock & Land, Connellans Electrical and ASPIRE Early Learning Centre, plus many other locals who supported our event.  We could not have hosted this event without your support.
