I would like to offer everyone a warm welcome to term 4, which is historically a very busy term. Some events to look forward to are; school photos, 2023 kinder orientation, intensive swimming program, end of year performances & yearly awards ceremony, Year 6 graduation mass and graduation dinner. More information on these events will be communicated in the coming weeks.

Our school photos is the first of these events, taking place this Wednesday. Please be reminded that our hair and uniform policy is maintained for this event, student hair that is longer than shoulder length is to be tied up and neat & tidy. Further details of these requirements can be found in the School Photo Day article in this newsletter.

On Monday 23^rd October our High Impact Teaching Practice (HITP) coaches from COGLearn are visiting St Mary’s again. This is the team that led our parent information session last term. The feedback from the parents that attended was extremely positive and I have organised another session to take place this term for those that were unable to attend last time. The session will take place in the hall from 4.30pm to 5.30pm and the content will be a repeat of last terms training. 

I am excited to inform you that we have a new student starting at St Mary’s today. Landon Cloete has joined us from Mount Isa, Queensland and he is in Kinder Kind. We offer Landon and his family a warm welcome to our school.
