Building Communities & Resilience

Our focus in BCR at the moment is HOPE. During our BCR time together as a whole school, students shared what they thought hope meant to them. Students then created a ‘HOPE SUNFLOWER’ and wrote something they are hoping for right now. 

Lucy (Kindergarten): I hope that no-one gets MND (Motor Neurone Disease)

Hugh (Year 1) : I hope for diseases to not be a thing

Lucy (Year 2): I hope I get something good for christmas

George (Year 4) : I hope for people to have hope: I hope that the future finds a cure for cancer

Jimmy (Year 5): I hope for no more droughts and floods: I hope for conflicts to end

Charlotte (Year 6): I hope for world peace
