Dear Parents and Carers,
Our builders have been extremely busy of late and our new classrooms are beginning to take shape. The pictures included in this newsletter show the upstairs classrooms with Autex felt, cabinetry, fans, lights, refrigerated heating and cooling installed. The colour scheme is also becoming clear. The soft blue felt and white walls create a crisp and clean finish. The new windows have opened up the space and give the room a warm and open feeling. The other pictures show the new student toilet blocks and southern stairwell. We are still progressing for a move into the new rooms in week 10 this term.
I would like to congratulate our Year 5/6 students on the way they conducted themselves during the Confirmation retreat day. I witnessed a wonderful maturity as our students embraced the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Thank you to Mrs McGee, Mrs Cuthbertson and Fr Dom for leading our students during the retreat.
The Father’s Day stall was a huge success today and all our students had a great time choosing a present for their father. Thank you to La’Shey, Brodie and Mickayla for purchasing the items and setting up the stall. St Mary’s wishes all our fathers the happiest of Fathers Day’s and we hope you are all spoilt rotten. I’m still waiting for the big surprise of a fishing trip to Burrinjuck Dam.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Father's Day weekend.
Mr Phil Nielsen
Thank you for giving me a Dad who has been there for me during the hard and the easy times of my life,
A Dad who takes time out of his life to do stuff for me,
A Dad who encourages me to strive to do my best,
A Dad who teaches me to do the right thing in life,
My Dad is all I could ask for in life, so Thank You God.
AMEN
