Parents will not need to complete a permission note as all families completed the Walking Permission Note earlier this year.

Our Mini Vinnies team are doing some wonderful work for those in need. This year they are supporting Catholic Mission's Socktober. Catholic Mission encourages a learning mind, an open heart and hands for action.
On Friday the 30th of October we are encouraging all students to wear colourful, interesting socks to school and to donate a gold coin that will support others in need.
The P&F are supporting this initiative by selling socks in the canteen on Monday, Wednesday and Friday next week. Socks will be $6 per pair until sold out.

As with limitations on gatherings at the moment, numbers are limited to 100 people in the Church. We invite parents, grandparents and carers to attend these Masses while observing any guidelines currently in place.

Children should wear comfortable clothes and a hat. They will need a piece of fruit, recess and a drink for the two half days. On the full days they will need their lunch as well.
Drop off will be at the Parish Centre at 8:45am, so please park in the church car park. Mrs Meincke will be there to take the children into the school. Pickup will be at midday also from the Parish Centre. Unfortunately parents are not allowed into the school grounds due to COVID restrictions.

Bellarwi Country Women's Association Education Grants
Bellarwi CWA are calling for applications for the Phillip Group Education Grants 2021.
These are for students going into Years 3 to 12 or first year Tertiary/TAFE education and are intended to assist families with the financial responsibilities associated with educating their children.
Application forms are available from the school office and they must be returned to the school by Monday 2nd November 2020.

2020 Curious Creatures, Wild Minds Book Week
St Mary's celebrated Book Week with curious creatures and favourite book characters. Students and staff used their wild minds to embrace the theme and come to school dressed up as all kinds of fabulous characters. The parade was a highlight and loads of fun.

Due to COVID restrictions, the 2020 Marian Procession will take place online. Led by our ethnic communities, the event is an opportunity to pray the Rosary together as a community.
We encourage participants to gather online in hubs with members of their families, local parishes, friends, or just individually to pray the Rosary during the week leading up to the celebration of the live-streamed Multicultural Mass Sunday 25 October.
