The goal of a virtuous life is to become like God.
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
A virtue is a habitual and firm disposition to do the good. It allows the person not only to perform good acts, but to give the best of himself. The virtuous person tends toward the good with all his sensory and spiritual powers; he pursues the good and chooses it in concrete actions.
“Virtues are formed by prayer. …Prayer draws into the soul the Holy Spirit and raises man to Heaven.” – St. Ephrem of Syria
This Lent lets try to find a few minutes a day to build some prayer into our daily lives.
O Lord during this time of Lent give me the spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love.
Grant me to see my own wrongdoings and not to judge others for theirs.
For blessed are You, now and ever and forever.
Amen

Opening School Mass
Tuesday the 23rd February 2021
12 pm
We are celebrating our whole school Opening Mass on Tuesday 23rd February, 2021 at 12pm. Our Year 6 leaders will be inducted at this mass.
If you are a Year 6 parent and you will not have a family member attending the mass, could you please let the school know so a staff member can be with your child during the badge ceremony.
A reminder to all parents entering the church to comply with Covid regulations by scanning the QR codes on your way into the church.
All students attend this Mass and parents and carers are warmly invited to attend.
Parents of Kinder students are reminded that there are two more rest days - Wednesday the 17th and 24th of February.
Our Kinder students get very tired and this break will help them to remain keen and focused.
Happy Birthday to
Marcus Murrells and Miles Cooper
who celebrate their birthdays in the coming week.
We hope you enjoy your special day.
