On Thursday we pause to remember the end of World War One. We remember the sacrifices of all those who served and those who lost loved ones in all theatres of war. As we remember the lives that have been lost, let us promise each other to work for the freedom of all who are oppressed in the world today.

A PRAYER FOR REMEMBRANCE

Ever-living God,

We remember those whom you have

gathered from the storm of war

into the peace of your presence;

may that same peace calm our fears,

bring justice to all peoples

and establish harmony among the nations,

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

St Mary's welcomes Tea Turner to our Kinder class for two weeks. Tea is completing the her teacher work placement which she started before the last round of home schooling commenced.

St Mary's would like to thank the Principal Grant Haigh and the Secondary Coordinator Michelle Jamieson, from St Anne's Temora, who visited West Wyalong last Thursday. They were available to meet parents of Year 7 2022 students to discuss the opportunities St Anne's offers.

Our Kinder Orientation sessions start are on the following dates:

Friday 12 November - 8.55am to Midday

Friday 19 November - 8.55am to 11.30am - followed by a parent session on "Everything you need to know about Kinder 2022"

Friday 26 November - 8.55am to 3.20pm

Friday 3 December - 8.55am to 3.20pm

Children should wear comfortable clothes and a hat. They will need a piece of fruit, recess and a drink for the two half days. On the full days they will need their lunch as well.

Please drop your children at the Parish Centre from 8:45am. Mrs Meincke will be there to greet your children. As per our current COVID regulations please wear your mask and leave the church carpark immediately after dropoff.

This year Remembrance Day falls on Thursday the 11th November.

Our Year 5/6 students will attend the ceremony at the S&C Club with Mrs Daniher, Miss Beach and Miss Madden. A wreath will be laid on behalf of our school community.

It would be appreciated if the students are wearing their full summer uniform and are neat and tidy.
