We give thanks for the fathers in our lives.

Fatherhood does not come with a manual, and reality teaches us that some fathers excel while others fail.
We ask for Your blessings for them all and forgiveness where it is needed.
  
This Father's Day we remember the many sacrifices fathers make for their children and families, and the ways--both big and small--they lift children to achieve dreams thought beyond reach.
  
So too, we remember all those who have helped fill the void when fathers pass early or are absent; grandfathers and uncles, brothers and cousins, teachers, priests and coaches and the women of our families.
  
For those who are fathers, we ask for wisdom and humility in the face of the task of parenting. Give them the strength to do well by their children and by You.

Ties do not need to be worn from the first day of spring - 1st September which is this Monday.

In line with this from next week students may wear either the school summer or winter uniform, depending on the weather, until the end of Term 3.

Wednesday 5th September

This is a half day holiday and the school day will finish at 12.00 noon.

Children can wear mufti to school.

Please notify your bus driver if your child will not be catching the bus home at midday.

Remember if your child is absent from school in the morning that an absence note will be required via the SZApp.

Don’t forget to complete our school satisfaction survey.  All responses are confidential and individuals cannot be identified.

Our Year 3 and Year 5 students sat the online NAPLAN readiness test using their iPads on Tuesday.

All were able to complete the tasks using the schools network and data was sent to NESA for analysis in preparation for delivering 2019 NAPLAN online.

   

On Thursday the P & F held a Father's Day raffle outside Bernardi's.  We would like to thank the community who bought tickets and supported our school raising $550.

3rd Prize $20 from Nev's Butchery: Ron Kearns

    

A stall for students to purchase Father's Day gifts for their dad was held at the school today.  A further $180.20 was raised for our P & F for the benefit of our students.  Thank you to the parents who supported this stall.

Children aged from 2 years to 18 years are encouraged to submit an entry in one or more of the categories. Students have been handed an information sheet and are encouraged to participate.
