We wish you all a happy and safe Easter. May we acknowledge the importance of Easter in our faith.
Let us accept the grace of Christ’s resurrection.
Let us be renewed by God’s mercy
Let us be loved by Jesus
Let us enable the power of his love to transform
Our lives too;
And let us become agents of this mercy,
Channels through which God
Can water the earth, protect
All creation and make justice and peace flourish.

Thank you to the parents and carers who attended our publishing party yesterday. Your attendance in the classrooms to hear and read the stories provides the students with an audience and a purpose for their writing. The students were very proud to show off their work and there were plenty of great stories to hear.
Thank you to the parents, grandparents and carers who attended the Passion Play yesterday. It really was a special performance and a wonderful celebration of Easter.
Thank you to our students who purchased tickets in the Easter Egg raffle. They raised $216 for Caritas. What a wonderful effort to raise money for a charity.

Religious Education Wrap Up Term 1
Term One has come to an end, what an amazing term it was! This term in Religious Education we saw lots of wonderful learning experiences.
Together we have celebrated mass at our Opening Mass, Ash Wednesday Mass and Class Masses. Thank you to all of you who were able to join us for these special moments in time. Your children love singing hymns, learning their readings and seeing you at Mass.
In all of our classes we learnt about Shrove Tuesday and enjoyed pancakes. We also learnt the importance of Ash Wednesday and the meaning of Lent. We have explored a range of important and differing topics to enrich our understanding of our faith as well as extending our understanding of other faiths.
This week we finished off our term with the Passion Play. All I have to say about our Passion Play is WOW! Thank you to everyone that has shared a kind message or comment and to those who have spoken so beautifully about our school around town. Your positive sentiments have been shared back to the school which has given us all a warm feeling knowing that what we do is so positively received.
Enjoy your holidays, stay safe and see you all in Week 1!
Kind regards,
Miss Jackson

WANTED
The P & F is calling for a volunteer to make the school winter skirts. The material will be supplied and the volunteer can charge a fee for the finished skirt. Parents supply waist and length measurements. Please contact the office if you interested in making skirts and getting some pocket money.
Summer uniform, or winter uniform without ties can be worn from the start of Term 2. Ties are compulsory from June 1.
Our school uniform is always to be worn with pride. It is our brand and reflects the quality of our school.
Parents are asked to consider the following:
- Scarves and beanies are only to be worn when a student is dressed in full winter uniform and not to be worn inside. The items need to be navy blue.
- Tights worn with skorts are not a part of the summer or winter uniform.
- The lightweight jackets do not replace the fleece jumper. They can be worn in addition to the jumper when playing outside.
- Jumpers must be in good condition and replaced if the zipper is broken.
- The top button on shirts needs to be done up when a tie is worn. The buttonhole may need to be enlarged or a lager size shirt may be required.
- Singlets and T-Shirts worn under shirts need to be tucked in or at a length where they are not visible below the shirt hem.
- Shoes should be polished regularly.
- Ripped and very well worn and faded pants, shirts and hats needs to be replaced.
- Socks should be navy for girls and grey for boys.
- Canberra Goulburn representative jumpers are not school uniform and therefore should not to be worn at school.
Thank you for your efforts in keeping our students looking neat and tidy.
Happy Birthday to
Priscilla Tachie-Menson, Oliver Atfield, Harry Morton, Sam Koop, Seb Rees, Alex Ridley, Nate Sams, Mia Pettit and Adelaide Brown
who celebrate their birthdays during the holidays or in the first week of Term 2.
We hope you enjoy your special day.
Students who would like to participate in the march are asked to meet at Thom Dick & Harry's corner by 10:20am for the commencement of the march.
The students and parents are invited to stay for the wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph at the S&C Club. Students should wear the school uniform which is most appropriate for the weather but not sports uniform or sneakers. The students will be accompanied by Mr Nielsen and teachers from our school.
