Goodbye and good luck to Maison Mullins and his family who are moving to Wollongong. We wish them all the best for their future.

Bookings are still open for Parent/Teacher interviews next week. They will close Monday 1st July at 11am.

Interviews will be held on Monday the 1st of July and Tuesday the 2nd of July from 3.30pm.

Parent Teacher Interview Bookings

Instructions on how to book were in last weeks newsletter. If you did not receive the bookings message via the SZAPP please contact the office as you may have the SZAPP setup incorrectly. In the SZAPP under the "Manage" tab push notifications should be on and parent/guardians selected NOT other. Other is for grandparents and other subscribers who are not parents. Once in you can choose all of your children at once which makes it easier to choose available time slots.

FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN AND THE SCHOOL BUSES

Please do not drop off or pick your children at the front door of the school or at the school bus stop during the morning or afternoon bus times.

It is very dangerous to stop in the path of the buses or cross in front of the school buses. We have had complaints from the bus companies.

There is parking in the church carpark and on Church Street for this purpose.

Please advise other carers of your children about this.

Wednesday 3 July @ 12.30pm

Kinder

The whole school will celebrate Mass on Wednesday 24 July at 12.30pm to honour our grandparents. We will also be praying for St Joachim and St Anne, the parents of Mary and grandparents of Jesus.

You are invited to bring a picnic lunch to share with your children following the Mass.

Making Jesus Real activities will commence at 2.15pm and parents, grandparents & carers are invited to stay for the activities.

Mrs Emma McRae our counsellor will be visiting our school next week on Wednesday 3rd of July.

Please note that at the start of Term 3 we have two pupil free days due to teachers professional development days.

This means students will not be at school on Monday 22 July and Tuesday 23 July.

Students will start Term 3 on Wednesday 24 July.

CPS Basketball 2019

Our CPS basketball teams are shown below.

We still require a manager for the Senior Boys Black, and we can always use more than one manager per team. If you would like to volunteer, or we have missed you off this list please let the office know.

Training for this event will start next term. Our P&F have kindly offered to pay for the West Wyalong court hire for this training. More information on training times will come out soon.

Students in Year 5 and 6 will travel to Wagga Civic Theatre on Tuesday 30th July to watch a performance of Hitler's Daughter.

The bus will leave the front of the school at 7.45am sharp and return in time for afternoon buses.

Students should wear school uniform and bring recess, fruit, lunch, water bottle and a hat.

This excursion will cost $14 per child and this should be sent into the school office before Friday 28 June. The cost of transport is covered by St Mary's School.

Bland’s Bust the Dust

The Bland Shire Council have kindly asked St Mary’s P&F to host a cake stall at the Bust the Dust event on Saturday 29th June.

Special Lunch - Friday 5 June

We are having a special lunch order on the last day of term, Friday 5 July.

Special Order Lunch

The special lunch is soup, either chicken or pumpkin, with garlic or a bread roll. Your child will choose the soup type on the day. Cost will be $2 a cup and 50c for the bread.

There is no need for a lunch order bag before the day, just send your child to school that day with money for the soup / bread. They can have more than one cup of soup.

The normal menu will not be available for lunch orders. If you do not order the special lunch please make sure you send lunch with your child/ren.

Recess, lunch time treats and drinks will still be sold.
