The Year 5 students who nominated for School Captain, and were successful in the first round of voting, will speak to the whole school, parents and friends in the school hall on Tuesday 10th December at 9:00am.
Everyone is most welcome to attend.
These students are:
Ned Brown, Oliver Brown, Sam Koop, Liam McClintock, Scarlett Connellan, Jogele-An Dignan, Claudia Murdoch and Chelsea Nielsen.
Teachers and students from Years 2 to 5 will then vote for our 2020 School Captains. The votes are weighted 50% teachers and 50% students.
The School Board AGM was held on Tuesday night. We thank the parents who nominated and were successfully elected to the positions as shown below.

We hope you enjoy your special day.
Our school will perform two songs at the West Wyalong Carols by Candlelight on Sunday 15th of December.
If your child would like to participate in our school performance please meet at Barnardo Park at 7pm. We are usually one of the first schools to perform.
Students are reminded that there will be no more library book borrowing.
All books should be returned to the library by Friday 6 December.
Reports have been handed to children to take home today. Reports for absent students will be posted.
Reports are an official written document for parents and it is up to their discretion as to how much of that report they share with their child.
The lost property box has a large number of items including polar fleeces and lunch boxes with no name.
Could you please have your children check the lost property or you are most welcome to visit the school and check yourself.
On the final day of school any unlabelled items will be disposed off or included in the second hand collection.

Students in Years 1-6 require the following:
Scissors, glue sticks, erasers, pencil sharpeners, black lead pencils (HB), plastic ruler (narrow), coloured pencils and/or textas
Students in Years 5 & 6 only—biros – blue and red
Students in Kinder, Years 1 & 2 require a Library Bag.
Kindergarten students are provided with all stationery requirements by the school
Back packs are available from the school office at a cost of $45.
P&F Annual General Meeting
The AGM was held on the 21st of November. All positions were declared vacant and the following parents were elected for 2020:
President - Lisa Sturgess
Vice President - Lash'ey Cattle
Secretary - Erin Pettit
Treasurer - Jules Ramsay
Board Representative - Linda Thomas
The P&F and the school would like to thank Renee Pettit who steps down from the President position and Jodie McDonell who steps down from the Treasurer position. Your time and dedication to our P&F was much appreciated.
We would like to thank all the parents and carers who volunteer their time every year for canteen, fund raising and other activities.
CANTEEN SPECIAL ORDER DAY
LAST DAY OF TERM 4
On Wednesday 18 December the canteen will sell Special Order lunches.
The special lunch will be a hot dog and lucky dip ice block for $4 with optional garlic bread at 50 cents for 2 pieces.
Extra Hot Dogs will cost $2.50, just add to order.
Please complete a brown lunch bag with your child's name, class, order and money and return to the school office by Friday 13th December.
The normal menu will not be available for lunch orders. If you do not order the special lunch please make sure you send lunch with your child/ren.
Recess, lunch time treats and drinks will still be sold, however slushies will not be available.

Canteen Volunteers 2020
We are looking for more volunteers for the canteen and baking roster for 2020.
Melissa Westaway is co-ordinating the Canteen Roster via the P&F Facebook Page. Please help if you can, our volunteers are our life blood and we apprecaite your help.
If you are not on Facebook please contact the school office and we can forward requests and days to Melissa.

Students should arrive at the S&C Club by 5:45pm.
All Year 6 students and other students who have been notified by text should wear their school uniform.
Everyone else must come dressed in the play costume and makeup.
Students are requried to sit with their class teachers.
All children should bring their water bottle.
