Dear Parents and Carers
The staff allocations and class lists have been finalised for 2023. St Mary's welcomes a new teacher to the team, Mrs Nadia Worland. Nadia will teach in a release from face to face capacity for one day a week.
Please find attached the class lists for 2023. I wish to thank all families who have contacted me and discussed their child's needs.
I invite you to tell your children their teacher's name and class mates.
Thankyou for your cooperation. I am sure that 2023 will be a fantastic year for everyone.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Nielsen
The third candle known as the candle of joy otherwise known as the Shepherd Candle, reflects the joy that comes through Jesus’ arrival, and through the salvation he has gifted us.
Although Christians have presented several reasons for the pinkish nature of the candle, from a tradition where priests would wear pink vestments to parents eagerly awaiting the joy of a child’s arrival by painting the room pink, the rosy candle has its roots in something known as Gaudete Sunday.
Philippians 4:4-5
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Dear Savior,
You are the giver of joy and new life. We celebrate You and honour You today. Thank You for your constant care for us. Thank You that we are able to access the fruit of the Spirit's joy because You came down to us. Thank You that at this time of year, we are able to rejoice and be grateful for Your precious presence with us. We praise You for coming to earth in humility as a newborn child. God, we cannot begin to comprehend all that You have done for us.
Amen
