Thank you to our local police station and Senior Constables Nakita Atfield and Dave Whiter who hosted our Kinder students this week. The police were very busy and we are most grateful they found the time to entertain our students. A great time was had by all!

Congratuations to Emily and Josh Barber who along with Ashton and Poppy welcomed baby Heath Thomas Barber on 29th August, weighing in at 6lb 3oz.

Ties do not need to be worn from the first day of spring - 1st September which is this Monday.

In line with this from next week students may wear either the school summer or winter uniform, depending on the weather, until the end of Term 3.

A special mention for Priscilla Tachie-Menson who qualified to compete at MacKillop Athletics in Sydney in Intermediate Girls Discus. However in addition to qualifying, Priscilla broke the Archdiocesan record for this discus event, throwing 22.08m beating the last record by 2m.

Kinder Visit to the Police Station

Cate Curry - Prize Winner

Cate Curry entered a colouring-in competition at Mudgee Field Days and she won. The competition was from "Power Tools Plus". Cate was presented with her prize yesterday from Mr Lindsay Hughes. Part of Cate's prize was also a garden blower for the school. Thanks Cate and Power Tools Plus.

Fathers Day Stall

Our families received and sold Fathers Day tickets for the P&F. We would like to thank our school community who bought tickets and supported our school raising $527.

The winners were:

1st Prize $100 from Metro Hotel: Edith Dean

2nd Prize $50 Shell Garage (Oils Plus): Elise McCubben

A stall for students to purchase Father's Day gifts for their dad was held at the school today. A further $111 was raised for our P & F for the benefit of our students. Thank you to the parents who supported this stall.

When: Tuesday afternoons for 4 weeks from 3 September to 24 September.

Cost: No fee, it's all free!

Where: West Wyalong Tennis Club
